equivalent Fractions

The definition for an equivalent fraction is a par of fractions when the top and the bottom number might be different but when you draw a picture they have the same value.  To do equivalent fractions, you will need to know your multiplication up to 12 and equivalent fractions mainly contain multiplication. Also when you divide or multiply both numerators and denominator by the same number, the fraction will keep it's value no matter what.
